Why must I include a current contact phone number?

DogSiteWorld works hard to help prevent fraudulent activity, although every online transaction still offers an opportunity for fraudulent activity. That’s why all online merchants need to have a proactive approach to risk management in an effort to prevent fraudulent Orders reaching the Payment and Shipping stage.

My Order has been 'flagged' as possible fraudulent Order? What does it mean?

Due to increasing volumes of fraudulent charges we have received regarding Orders we need to ensure we are both protecting our customers and DogSiteWorld from increased prices for our loyal customers through fraudulent charges.

The fraud analysis system we use provide relevant indicators for each Order received. The indicators can be used to assess the risks associated with individual Orders from the highest risk to lower risk level.

The fraud recommendation indicates if an Order has a low, medium or high risk of a chargeback due to fraudulent activity. If an Order has medium to high risk, then the Order will be 'flagged' and blocked from the Payment and Shipping Process stage.

What happens when low risk indicators show?

When an Order have been ‘flagged’ as potentially a fraudulent transaction they are eliminated from the shipping process, whereas prior to a suspicious low risk Order being blocked, DogSiteWorld Team can assess the lower risks and one of the effective techniques is to contact the potential purchaser via a current phone number preferably a cellphone or mobile phone – which must be included as a prevention to the less serious 'suspicious' Order within the Ordering process for verification to progress the Order to the shipping process stage.

An effective risk management is very important when selling dog products at affordable genuine low prices as there is little financial leeway to recover costs on lower priced high quality dog products, except to increase prices on affected dog products to counter balance the financial losses.

DogSiteWorld Policy states all Orders which has been 'flagged' as fraudulent Orders, will always be prevented from reaching the Payment and Shipping Process stage.

How to search products?

Search for products by entering the product name or keyword into the Search Bar at the top of any page. Try to enter a general description. The more keywords you use, the less products you will get in the results page. When you find a product you’re interested in, simply click the product name or the product image for more details.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs are calculated based on shipping method (air, sea or land) and product weight / volume. Different shipping companies have different rates, so it’s best to check and compare which is most affordable and economical.
